North Queensland Cowboys players Lachlan Coote and Jason Taumalolo are more than ready to return to footy tonight against the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Coote injured his calf in Round 2 against the Broncos, and Taumalolo was suspended for a shoulder charge in the same game.

The fullback and lock‑forward lead from opposite ends of the field, but according to coach Paul Green both will be a welcome return to the side.

The Cowboys will meet the Rabbitohs at 9.05pm tonight, while the Rooster will face the Sea Eagles at 7pm.

Tomorrow, Sharks will take on the Knights at 4pm, the Raiders will meet the Eels at 6.30pm while the Storm will clash with the Panthers at 8.30pm.
