Brazil have defeated Serbia 2-0 in their final group E match, to make to through to the round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup.
Brazil’s goal was scored in the 36th minute by Paulinho while Thiago Silva scored the winner in the second half.

In another match Switzerland and Costa Rica played out a 2-all draw.

Brazil finish the top of Group E with Switzerland second and Serbia third.
Brazil will now take on Mexico in the round of 16.
Meanwhile, Defending Champions Germany have been eliminated from the 2018 FIFA World Cup after losing to South Korea 2-0 in their final Group F match.
This is the first time since 1938 that a Germany or West Germany side has not advanced beyond the first section of the tournament, as the team finishes at the bottom of Group F.

In another Group F match, Sweden defeated Mexico 3-0.
Sweden finish top of the Group F with Mexico second and South Korea third.
