Barbarians lead PRC points standing
The Body Guard Fiji Barbarians 15's rugby side has taken the lead in the Pacific Rugby Cup points standing after defeating Tau'uta Reds 43-30 yesterday at Churchill Park.

The Rupeni Nasiga captained side scored a bonus point win and now has 9 points.

The Barbarians are hoping to reach their first ever final in the PRC will play Tautahi Gold on Friday, in a game that will decide who will finish in the top spot going into the third round of competition.

Tau'tahi Gold yesterday defeated Savaii Samoa 16-14 in a close game and now has 8 points.

Savaii Samoa and Fiji Warriors now have 5 points but the Samoans have a better points difference.

Also on Friday the Fiji Warriors will play Savaii Samoa at 2pm and at 5pm the Fiji Barbarians will take on Tau-tahi Gold.

Both games will be held at Churchill Park.

In yesterday's results the Fiji Warriors are back on track in the PRC with a 24-17 win against the Upolu Samoa and the Barbarians thumped Tau-uta Reds 43-30.
