Australia is once again the champion of Netball in the world after defeating the New Zealand Silver Ferns 58-55 in a close encounter in front of 16,849 spectators during the final last night in Allphones Arena in Sydney.

Australian skipper, Laura Geitz’s outstanding intercepts and deflections caught the Silver Ferns off guard in the first quarter, as Kimberly Green carried it through the midcourt to Caitlin Bassett and Natalie Medhurst to convert.
