Argentina have booked a spot in the 2010 FIFA World Cup quarterfinal after winning their game against Mexico 3-1 in the last hour.
This is a repeat of the 2006 World Cup where Argentina beat Mexico in the second round.
The Diego Maradona coached side slotted in a total of three goals with two coming from the boots of Carlos Tevez, the first of which was a controversial off-side goal in the 26th minute of play.
This is the second upset this morning with the first being England's 4-1 thumping to Germany.
England's players and coaching team, including David Beckham, led vehement protests after Frank Lampard's goal was ruled out after the ball bounced down off the bar, despite its landing a yard over the line.
The results from this morning mean that both England and Mexico are on their way back home.
Looking at the Cup quarter finals fixtures so far, Argentina will take on Germany while Ghana meets Uruguay.
