20 year old Tailevu Knights winger Timoci Nagusa has been given his biggest break at test level rugby after he was named on the right wing for the Flying Fijians to take on Samoa on Saturday.
Nagusa who is well known in local rugby for his speed out-wide will be a secret weapon in Ilivasi Tabua's starting line-up which boosts 12 players from last years Rugby World Cup.
Speaking to Fijivillage Sports, Tabua said Nagusa has a long way to go in the national team.
Also forcing his way into the run on team is Stormers Super 14 winger Sireli Naqelevuki who will be running at out-side centre.
Tabua has opted for an experience forward pack which has the likes of Graham Dewes, Sunia Koto, Jone Railomo, Kele Leawere, Ifereimi Rawaqa, Semisi Naevo, Aca Ratuva and Netani Talei.
Captain Mosese Rauluni will be at half-back, Wise Luveniyali gets the number 10 jumper alongside Filimoni Delasau, Kameli Ratuvou, Sireli Naqelevuki, Timoci Nagusa and Dan Rawaqa. Three other World Cup players have also been named on the reserve bench are Gloucester open-side flanker Akapusi Qera, Vereniki Sauturaga and Wame Lewaravu.
