As the countdown begins with two more days till the FIJI Water Flying Fijians face Wales, the players are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations.

Fiji Rugby Union says that beyond the physical demands of training, the squad has turned its focus to one of rugby's most important weapons—knowledge.

They say the Flying Fijians recently participated in a comprehensive Law Session led by former World Rugby 15s High Performance Match Officials Manager, Allain Rolland, giving players valuable insight into the modern interpretation of the game's laws.

FRU says as the international game continues to evolve, understanding how referees interpret breakdowns, tackle situations, offside lines and set-piece contests can often make the difference between winning and losing at the highest level.

They say the session provided players and coaches with a clearer understanding of current officiating trends, helping the team minimise costly penalties while maximising opportunities during crucial moments of the match.

Heading into the Wales clash, the Flying Fijians are combining their renowned physicality, flair and attacking instinct with a sharper understanding of the laws, a key ingredient in delivering an accurate and disciplined performance.

The Flying Fijians take on Wales at 1.10am Sunday.

They face England on July 12th at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

They will then wrap up their tour against Scotland on July 19th at Murrayfield Stadium.

In other matches this weekend, New Zealand will play France at 7.10pm Saturday in Christchurch and Australia takes on Ireland at 10.10pm, while South Africa will face England at 3.40am Sunday with Argentina playing Scotland at 7.10am.
