Harry Kane scored twice to help England beat the Democratic Republic of Congo 2-1 and book their place in the FIFA World Cup last 16.

Captain Kane scored twice in last 15 minutes to rescue England as Congo were leading 1-0 at halftime.

Speaking after the match, Kane praised DR Congo, describing them as a tough team.

He says England lifted their level after the hydration break and remained patient despite the pressure and risks of knockout football.

Kane also says the match against Mexico will be another tough challenge.

He adds that he has told his teammates to enjoy every moment of the World Cup, saying it is a huge occasion and one they should celebrate.

England will now face Mexico in the last 16 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Belgium will take on Senegal at 8am.
