FMA Town Hall on Constitution Bill at 7pm this Thursday at FNU Nasinu
With days to go for the final parliamentary vote to be taken on the Constitution Amendment Bill, the Fijian Media Association will host a special FMA Town Hall Forum in Nasinu this Thursday, and is calling on members of the public to come out and put their questions on the Constitution Bill and other key national issues to the six confirmed panelists.

The confirmed panelists are Deputy Prime Minister Manoa Kamikamica, National Federation Party Leader Professor Biman Prasad, One Nation President Tupou Draunidalo, SODELPA Leader Aseri Radrodro, Unity Fiji Leader Savenaca Narube and Fiji Labour Party Leader Mahendra Chaudhry.

fijivillage News Director, Vijay Narayan and Mai TV Director, Stanley Simpson will host the discussion, and it will also be streamed live on all the media platforms.

Members of the public are invited to join the discussion from 7pm this Thursday at the CBHTS Lecture Theatre, FNU Nasinu Campus.

Doors open at 5pm.

Under the theme “Have your say on the Constitution Bill and other Key National Issues”, the forum is an opportunity to seek clear explanations and hear different perspectives.

You do not need to be a legal expert to have a question worth asking.

Whether your concern is the Constitution Bill, the cost of living, jobs, education, health services or public accountability, bring the questions that matter to you.

The FMA wants public concerns to help shape the conversation.

The media’s role is to create space for informed, respectful discussion and encourage clear answers.

Public participation is essential: the value of a Town Hall comes from the questions people ask and the experiences they bring.

You can send your questions in advance through the QR code on the event poster or the link below.

Questions sent through this form close at midnight on Wednesday, 28th October 2026, Fiji time:
https://forms.gle/cvKMW69cSXgXzUJr5

You will then receive the confirmation to ask your questions.

If you are unable to send your questions, you can still come and ask your questions in the Forum.

The Association encourages people to share the invitation with family, friends and colleagues and make plans to attend together.

Come prepared to ask, listen and contribute.

You can also watch the live coverage on our facebook page, fijivillage at 7pm this Thursday.
