Ilaisa Tanoa Degei is now a free man after being found not guilty of raping a Virgin Australia cabin crew member.
The 24-year-old was charged with one count of rape and one count of sexual assault against a 21-year-old woman.
It was alleged that Degei sexually assaulted and raped the victim between 31st December 2024 and 1st January 2025 in Nadi.
When asked whether they will appeal the judgement, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions says it will first review the judgement before deciding.
