The Fiji Bula Boys will be hunting for their first win of the MSG Prime Minister’s Cup 2026 when they face Papua New Guinea tonight, with victory crucial to strengthening their chances of reaching the final.
Fiji currently sits at the bottom of the standings after two matches, following a 3-all draw against the Solomon Islands and a narrow 1-0 loss to Vanuatu.
A win over PNG would take the Bula Boys to four points and keep them firmly in contention for a top-two finish ahead of their final pool match against New Caledonia on Wednesday.
A draw would leave Fiji on two points and needing to beat New Caledonia while also relying on other results to go their way.
A loss tonight would make Fiji’s path to the final significantly more difficult.
The Bula Boys will take on Papua New Guinea at 7 tonight at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
The top two teams at the end of the pool stage will meet in the final next Saturday.
