The Vodafone Fijiana XV went down 55-12 to a clinical Springbok women in their inaugral Ubuntu-Bula Trophy game at the HFC Bank Stadium this afternoon.
There were moments of indiscipline for the Fijiana as they spent 20 minutes a player down after No. 8 Alfreda Fisher was yellow carded, which was later upgraded to red for diving in at the ruck and catching the opposing player on the head.
The South Africans ran in 10 tries to the Fijiana's two tries from Adi Vani Buleki and Varanisese Qoro.
Captain Kelera Lomani says their collision let them down today.
Lomani says they will go back and review the footage to see what they can improve on before next week's game.
She also thanked the fans that came out to support them, as well for the love and support they have for the Fijiana team.
The Springbok women led 27-7 at the break.
The two sides will face off again next week at Churchill Park, Lautoka for their second Test.
