President Jioji Konrote has visited St Christopher's Home in Nakasi as part of his Christmas tour.
President Konrote said he was pleased and honoured to visit the Home and presented them with gift hampers.
The President says we should be more compassionate to our neighbours and pray for those who are still living in tents after Cyclone Winston.
Sister Kalolaine Tuineau says the Home has a total of 27 children with age group of 1 year to 21-years-old.
Two girls are studying at tertiary level while one has already graduated.
The home has 9 staff and two sisters who cater for the needs of the children such as cooking, cleaning, security, care and protection.
St Christopher's was established at Nakasi in 1968 and has since catered for both girls and boys.
