Tourism Fiji has announced Bollywood actress Ileana D’Cruz as its brand ambassador for the India market and is expected to travel to Fiji next month.

The actress’s film RAID is currently screening in cinemas.

Tourism Fiji says after a successful collaboration with the Bollywood celebrity last year, they now aim to showcase more of its unique offerings to potential travellers from India through more engagements with D’Cruz.

As part of this engagement, the Bollywood actress is expected to showcase Fiji’s experiences through her social media channels and India media outlets.

Tourism Fiji says India is a strategic emerging market for Fiji and they have been receiving steady growth in visitor arrivals from India over the past five years.

D’Cruz says she is happy to be associated with a beautiful country like Fiji.

She says the warmth, hospitality, and love the Fijian people have shown her make her feel like she is home and she cannot wait to come to Fiji again and explore more of this lovely paradise.

Minister for Tourism Faiyaz Koya says with Ileana D’Cruz as their Brand Ambassador, they hope to get more Indians to come and experience the diverse and refreshing culture of our island country.
