The website and new mobile app is phase one of FijiCare’s investment into its information systems

FijiCare Insurance Limited is using technology to combat the growing problem of non-communicable diseases in Fiji leading to a reduction in healthcare and medical insurance costs.

Speaking at the launch of Fiji’s first Insurance mobile app and website, Chairman of FijiCare, Avi Raju says the company’s new mobile app and website will not only improve the service to its clients but also increase the processing efficiency between the company, policy holders and the service providers.

The website and new mobile app is phase one of FijiCare’s investment into its information systems and digital platforms which will enable the policy holders to view the policy details, insurance claims history and their insurance eCard.

Phase two will enable the integration of FijiCare’s new mobile app with the fitness wearable devices with wellness and prevention programs.

Raju says FijiCare is currently working with the international Fintech technology providers to introduce innovative digital solutions and insurance products.
