Fiji Flags seen everywhere after Fiji's historic win

Fiji flags could be seen everywhere after Fiji's historic win as people walked around shouting with joy and proudly waving the national flag.

Many people had Fiji flags in their cars, while many had worn Fiji rugby jerseys or merchandise as people went into celebration mood.

We caught up with a few people after Fiji's historic gold medal win in Rio.

The atmosphere is the same in the Western Division as people are in jubilant mood celebrating this historic win.

Our reporter in the West, Gulsher Ali says that everybody has a smile on their face as the people are shouting, hugging each other in the wake of Fiji=s victory.

He says this is what the people had been waiting for and when the Fiji flag was being hoisted in Rio, many became emotional to see the national flag being hoisted to a worldwide audience.
