The winners of the 2026 FIFA World Cup will receive about FJ$112 million, the biggest prize ever awarded in football.

FIFA is expected to generate about FJ$29 billion in revenue from the tournament, while the total prize pool for the 48 participating teams will be around FJ$1.94 billion.

Every nation that qualifies for the World Cup will receive at least FJ$27.9 million, including a participation fee and funding to help cover tournament preparations.

FIFA says most of its revenue comes from broadcasting rights, ticket sales, sponsorships and licensing, with the expanded 104-match tournament expected to generate significantly more income than previous editions.

The world football governing body says it plans to reinvest at least FJ$26.1 billion into the development of football worldwide.
