Ba woman dedicates Bachelor of Commerce to late father
For 22-year-old Shaniya Shyna Chand, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce is more than an academic achievement – it is a tribute to her late father and family that supported her throughout her journey.

The Ba woman graduated from the University of the South Pacific with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Information Systems, and says she is dedicating the achievement to her late father.

Chand says she is also grateful for the support of her mother, sister, family, friends and teachers.

She says she chose accounting because she enjoyed the subject in high school and believes the field offers many opportunities.

She says the support and guidance she received helped her overcome difficulties during her studies.
