The late Minister for Employment, Productivity and Workplace Relations, Agni Deo Singh, was a man who dedicated his life to the service of others, particularly the workers of our country, whose rights and wellbeing he championed for many years.

While paying tribute to the late Minister, Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka says it is with a heavy heart that he mourns the passing of his Cabinet colleague and friend, adding that it was an honour to serve alongside him.

He says Singh was a true son of Fiji and, through his life and work, taught us what it means to serve fellow Fijians with conviction, humility and purpose.

Rabuka says Fiji has lost a dedicated leader and public servant, while he has lost a valued colleague and friend.

The Prime Minister says Singh’s contribution to the Government and the nation will not be forgotten.

Rabuka says, on behalf of his family, the Government and the people of Fiji, he extends his deepest condolences to Singh’s family and loved ones.
