With the 2026 Coca-Cola Games starting today, Minister for Information, Environment and Climate Change Lynda Tabuya stresses there is no place for drugs in the lives of our young people.
While opening the Coca-Cola Games this morning, the Minister said drugs have no place in the stadium and urged students to choose something productive and healthy.

The Minister also called on students to refrain from bullying, saying there is no place for bullying in schools, at the stadium, in the stands, on social media, or anywhere else.
She says too often there are reports of secondary school students bullying each other or facing bullying both online and offline.
Tabuya also stressed the importance of maintaining a clean environment and properly disposing of rubbish.
She says littering is one of the causes of flooding in communities, homes, and the environment.
Speaking on the importance of sports, the Minister says sports should build people up, not break them down.
She says as the only female president of a provincial rugby union, she has seen how sports build friendships and bring people together.
She also acknowledged the inclusion of para-athletes in the Games, saying this is more than just participation—it is a clear statement that ability is not defined by limitations and that excellence comes in many forms.
The Coca-Cola Games will be held from today until Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
