The Drua players showed massive character with no more subs in the final 10 mins - Jackson

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua players put their bodies on the line against Western Force with no substitute left for the last 10 minutes of the game, and this showed massive character from the team as they look for a spot in the finals.

This was shared by the Drua Coach Glen Jackson to fijivillage News from Lautoka.

Jackson says the players drew motivation from everything they went through during the week, emphasizing that it was not just about the result, but about representing the nation.

He says he is pleased with the new players stepping up on debut, and wearing the Drua jersey with pride, something he believes reflects the strong work being done in the academy and development systems.

Looking ahead, Jackson says he values having players who are versatile, highlighting Motikai Murray as a prime example.

He adds that the much-needed win came at the right time for the fans and expressed gratitude for the strong crowd support.
