The goal for Queen Victoria School is to improve on last year’s performance and continue progressing each season, and they are on track to achieve that this year.

This was highlighted to fijivillage Sports by sprint star and current Queen Victoria School sprints coach Banuve Tabakaucoro.

Tabakaucoro says preparations for the Coca-Cola Games have been going well, with no injury concerns among the Matavatucou contingent.

He says that the team has already accomplished its first objective, successfully defending its Zone title, and is now focused on fine-tuning preparations for the Coca-Cola Games.

The Bau Bullet adds that QVS has a well-balanced group of athletes this year and acknowledged the strong support from the school principal, management, and Old Boys.

He also expressed gratitude to athletes' parents for their continued support as the team builds toward another strong showing at the Coke Games.

The Coke Games will be held from next Thursday to Saturday.

Marist Brothers High School will be defending the boys' title while Mahatma Ghandi Memorial High School will be defending the girls' title.
