The Tappoo Group of Companies and India’s world renowned car maker Mahindra Group donated two Mahindra Scorpio Twin Cab 4x4 vehicles worth $120,000 to support DISMAC’s relief work.

While receiving the vehicles, Minister for National Disaster Management Inia Seruiratu thanked the group for the timely donation.

Seruiratu said they are overwhelmed with the support and assistance provided by their partners.

He said the rural areas need the powerful and rugged vehicles.

Meanwhile, the Executive Director of Tappoo Group of Companies Mahendra Tappoo thanked the Prime Minister for the generous help to the rural sector, the poor and needy.

He said the Prime Minister tirelessly goes around to the remotest parts of Fiji and personally serves the poor and needy and the victims and their families affected by the cyclone.
