Extra Bula FC have suffered a heartbreaking loss to Vanuatu United FC in a dramatic OFC Pro League play-off encounter that went into extra time.
Extra Bula FC made a strong start and took a 1-0 lead into half-time after Josaia Sela scored the opening goal, which was also his first ever OFC Pro League goal.
Bula looked set to secure victory for most of the match, but Vanuatu United fought back in the dying minutes through Azariah Soromon, whose late equaliser forced the match into extra time.
Vanuatu United eventually completed the comeback and secured the win to progress to the semi-finals, where they will take on South Melbourne FC on Wednesday in the first semi-final.
Meanwhile, Auckland FC will face South Island United in the second semi-final on the same day.
