Youths from different Christian denominations turned up in numbers today to join hands in the Nabukalou Creek clean-up campaign as a part of their mission.

The theme for the movement this year is ‘Let Justice and Peace Flow’.

Fiji Council of Churches President Archbishop Peter Loy Chong says today the whole Christian family of Fiji came together from different churches to join hands and symbolically show how they should care for God's creation.

He says their turnout today is to basically show the world the message that justice flows like a river.

Archbishop Chong adds if the river flows all the time, justice should flow all the time.

Meanwhile, Fiji Council of Churches General Secretary, Reverend Simione Tugi, says the youths today showcase how to care for and love the environment God has given us.

He says that they will be cleaning up the starting point of the Nabukalou Creek till the end beside EFL.

Also, among the youths today was the Pacific Conference of Churches General Secretary, Reverend James Bhagwan, who was cleaning up the creek while on his paddle board.
