World War 1 film 1917 wins 7 awards at the Bafta Film Awards

World War One film 1917 was the big winner at the Bafta Film Awards, winning seven prizes in total.

The prizes for Sir Sam Mendes's film included the best film, best British film, best director and best cinematography.

Joker star Joaquin Phoenix was named best actor, while Renee Zellweger was recognised for her portrayal of Judy Garland.

Brad Pitt won best supporting actor for his role in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood and made a Brexit joke in a message read out by his co-star Margot Robbie.
