Works at the Nabua Mead Road Roundabout up to Oneata Street and the Karsanji Road from Grantham Roundabout end is expected to complete in February and March next year.
Fiji Roads Authority says this is part of Suva Arterial Road Upgrade Project where these two major roundabouts will be upgraded to concrete.
The permanent pavement work for Mead Road is scheduled to finish on 5th March 2018, while the Grantham and Gaji Road works is scheduled to complete on the 10th February 2018.
FRA says these works will require dig out and placing of concrete.
They say during the construction phase, motorists are advised that traffic will be diverted to a single lane.
FRA says traffic can only be opened onto the new concrete pavement once the required strength is achieved between 7 days to 28 days from pouring.
Travelers along this area are advised to take this notice into account when finalising travel plans.
