We need to be playing on the right parts of the field – Rauluni

Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women’s head coach Mosese Rauluni says it is important for them to be playing on the right parts of the field this weekend when they take on the Western Force in round 3 of the Super Rugby Women's competition this weekend.

Rauluni says most of the time they are playing inside their own half too much and they end up conceding penalties which has the opposition pressuring them.

He says last week, the Waratahs Women scored a lot of quick tries because of that and when the team tried to get their confidence boost back after that, it was tough.

Rauluni says the confidence level comes with the position they play and the points on the board.

He says they want to minimise those errors they committed against the Waratahs and play smarter this weekend.

The Drua Women will take on the Western Force at 3.35pm tomorrow at Churchill Park in their second double header match of the year with the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Men playing the Western Force at 1.05pm. In other Super Rugby Women matches this weekend, the Waratahs will play the Rebels at 6.05pm Friday and the Reds will take on the Brumbies at 6.05pm Saturday.
