Waitress confirms Ratu Tevita was at Nagigia Island Resort

A waitress at Nagigia Island Resort in Kadavu confirmed Ratu Tevita Uluilakeba Mara checked in to the resort on the 8th of this month.

The woman who does not want to be named said she did not know who the guest was however she recalled he asked for a beef stir-fry meal and a fresh coconut drink or “BU”.

She added Ratu Tevita was treated like any other hotel guest.

Meanwhile, police are currently questioning staff members of the resort who were on shift when Ratu Tevita was their guest.

Ratu Tevita fled to Nuku’alofa in the Tongan navy vessel Savea on the 9th of May.
