Police are expected to question the Turaga-Ni Koro of Vatubalavu in Navosa in relation to the alleged cultivation of Marijuana.
Assistant Spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokomuri, who is with the soldiers and police team currently raiding the farms in Navosa, said that they believe the Turaga-Ni Koro has knowledge of the marijuana farms and those involved.
Sokomuri has also denied allegations that gun shots were fired by soldiers during the raid.
Meanwhile, the Conservative Alliance Party Spokesperson Ropate Gabriel Sivo said the governmen needs to help youths find other means of earning a living instead of planting marijuana.
So far millions of dollars worth of marijuana plants have been uprooted.
