Police investigators continue to question an individual believed to have been involved in the tampering of the drug exhibits at the Suva High Court.

It has been confirmed that the individual is closely linked to one of the six persons of interest directly charged with the management of exhibits.

The six are from the Judicial Department.

He is currently being questioned at the Criminal Investigations Department Headquarters.

Meanwhile investigations continue with regards to the involvement of other persons of interest.

One of the persons of interest is the sister of an Acting Head of an independent institution.

The woman who was working at the Judicial Department is overseas, and questions are being raised on how she managed to go abroad.

When questioned, Police Commissioner, Rusiate Tudravu says they will not reveal which country this person went to as she could have gone somewhere else after that.

He also did not want to confirm anything and said to allow the investigation process to take its course.

Chief Justice Salesi Temo and Chief Registrar Tomasi Bainivalu say they will let the investigation process take its course.
