Fiji’s two biggest universities have said improvements are being made to ensure that quality graduates are being pulled into the workforce.
Their comments come after the Education Minister Doctor Mahendra Reddy had said that there are serious flaws in the quality of graduates in the country.
Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of the South Pacific, Professor Richard Coll said USP is putting in place processes to ensure that its programs continue to be of international quality.
He said they believe that this will ensure that they continue to put out quality graduates.
Fiji National University Acting Vice Chancellor Professor Ian Rouse said they are currently reviewing their programs to ensure that the university will have quality graduates.
