Twin brothers who are aged 21 will be produced in the Suva Magistrates Court tomorrow for allegedly threatening to kill a group of Police officers.

It is also alleged that the two racially abused a Fijian officer of Indian descent.

They are charged with serious assault, damaging property and resisting arrest.

Police say the two were arrested at 4am on Friday along Victoria Parade by officers who were on patrol.

The two were allegedly intoxicated and were threatening to kill the Police officers on patrol and continued swearing despite being repeatedly warned and asked to clear the area.

The two allegedly confronted the officers and in the process damaged the accessory vest belonging to one of the arresting officers while verbally abusing a Fijian officer of Indian descent.
