Turtle Island Resort hosts worlds top models

Fiji's exclusive and romantic private island resort provided exotic and tropical backdrop for the world's most amazing, bikini clad models.

Luxury Travel Magazine said with 500 acres of lush rainforest, 14 pristine white sand beaches and the most romantic reputation in the world, it is no wonder that the editors of Sports Illustrated chose Turtle Island Resort in Fiji as one of the locals to shoot the famous 2011 Swimsuit issue.

It said the resort provided the stunning backdrop while hosting models such as Julie Henderson, Alyssa Miller, Genevieve Miller and Anne V.

Fiji's International Airline, Air Pacific, provided the transportation for the crew of Sports Illustrated.

It said Turtle Island is no stranger to celebrity.

The movie Blue Lagoon was shot on Turtle in 1980 and it has subsequently been host to numerous high profile guests including Jessica Simpson, Vanessa Williams, Rob Lowe and Britney Spears.

Turtle Island was most recently the only resort in Fiji to make the Bride’s magazine's "Brides Best Honeymoon Awards" list.
