A Tropical Cyclone has formed off the far north Queensland coast and another system is expected to form off Western Australia’s north-west coast later this week.
The category one system Tropical Cyclone Nathan is currently about 435 kilometres north-east of Cooktown in Queensland and is expected to become a category two by today.
The weather bureau said the system was moving south‑west at 12 kilometres per hour.
