It was an exciting and big welcome for the New Year 2011 by thousands of people from all walks of life that danced the night away at the Annual CFL Fiji Street Party with Digicel last night at Albert Park in Suva.
With Albert Park packed with thousands of people, we caught up with some during the night on how their night was going.
Many were just excited to herald in the New Year with the rest of Fiji.
Meanwhile, A retired nurse from Namosi who was part of the crowd was said the atmosphere is totally different from the village life.
She added that the event will never be forgotten by her two grandchildren who returns overseas next week.
It was also a night to remember for a farmer who came all the way from Na-vala in the interior of Ba, Tui Vanua-Taki enjoyed the music and the sight of the bright lights at the Annual CFL Street Party last night.
Vanuataki said every year he spends his New Year in NaVala and when he heard on the radio about the street party, he decided to travel to the capital city with his wife and child to come to the street party.
