The Fiji Banks and Finance Sector Employees Association has confirmed that they support issues raised by the Fiji Trade Unions Congress but cannot comment on whether its members will be part of FTUC’s planned nationwide protest.
Association General Secretary Sailesh Naidu says it is up to the individual members if they want to participate.
Naidu says they have about 1,500 members who are bank and financial sector workers.
He says they are currently working on being an affiliate of FTUC.
