Suva Grammar leads

Suva Grammar School continues to lead the boys division of the Suva Zone 2.

According to the Fijivillage medal tally, Grammar leads with 9 gold and 5 silver while Marist Brothers High School is second with 6 gold, 3 silver and Gospel High School is in third place with 2 gold and 1 bronze.

In the girls division, Grammar leads with 4 gold, second is Waidina Secondary with 3 gold, 7 silver and 3 bronze while Ratu Latinara is third with 2 gold.

Francis Kirikirikula of Grammar won the blue ribbon event in the boys division with a manual time of 11.18 seconds.

Kirikirikula who is the former Queen Victoria School sprinter said he does not rate himself highly as there are other athletes who will be taking part in the Coca Cola Games like Benamino Maravu.

Meanwhile, Saint Joseph Secondary School student Sisilia Seavula won the girls 100m with a manual time of 12.50 seconds.
