Ahead of International women’s day, the men of the Shree Sanatan Dharam will honor women in their mothers clubs today.
An appreciation lunch for over a 120 plus women from Navua to Rewa will be held at the Sanatana Shiv Mandir at Rewa Street.
Excited about his opportunity to co-ordinate the event Rahul Sharma spoke to Fijivillage.
Helping Rahul out today are about 50 other men including the president of the Sanatan Dharam Diwan Maharaj.
Joy is in the air for Mrs Khamlesh Singh who is bringing 50 women from Rewa.
These women she said are from within the areas of Naikaikogo, Navasa, Navia, Natalasese and Verata.
The women that make up the club she said are widows, grandmothers and young wives.
The appreciation lunch will also celebrate the significant contributions of these women’s groups with their communities.
The Rewa Mothers club help pay education for 12 needy children and on Monday they will be making a monetary donation to the family of the Koronivia house fire.
