People living in Wainadoi, Navua are calling for assistance from authorities as flood waters continue to rise in their area.
A resident, Mohammad Saiyad said he with some other people are trapped and are unable to go to work this morning.
Areas that have been affected by rising flood waters are Wainadoi Village, Wainadoi Road, Ram Sami area and Waikasaura areas.
According to police, two bridges near Wainadoi village are under flood waters.
