Scotland upsets South Africa to win London 7s
The Scotland 7s team celebrate their win at the London 7s.

Scotland has caused a massive upset to beat South Africa 27-26 to win their first ever sevens title at the London 7s.

The Scottish team's first ever final was a dramatic one with South Africa dominating throughout the game.

Scotland played with brave hearts as they scored two tries within two minutes to break the hearts of the South Africans.

The Scotland team will join forces with England and Wales to form the Great Britain team to the Olympics in August.

Meanwhile the Vodafone Fiji 7s team lost to USA 19-26 in the third place play-off.

USA was leading 19-7 at half time before captain Madison Hughes scored the Americans winning try from a kick and chase.

Fiji's try was scored by Jasa Veremalua while Kitione Taliga scored twice.

Fiji retained the 2015/2016 World Sevens Series title after they booked their place in the cup quarterfinals yesterday.

Fiji finished the series with 181 points, South Africa finished second with 171 points, New Zealand settled in third place with 158 points while Australia finished in fourth place with 134 points.

All teams will now have two months to prepare for the Rio Olympics in August.
