Rohit Shetty harbours dream of remaking 'Bad Boys' in Bollywood

Bollywood Filmmaker Rohit Shetty harbours a dream of remaking the popular Hollywood franchise 'Bad Boys' in Bollywood and even has his wish list stars in his mind.

The filmmaker, known for creating a 'desi' cop universe in Hindi commercial films, recently got associated with 'Bad Boys For Life', latest in the franchise, in India.

Shetty says 'Bad Boys' is one of his favorite franchises.

He says the chemistry between Will Smith and Martin Lawrence is amazing.

Shetty adds that he met people in 2011 and wanted to remake the film but then he went on to make his own cop world.

He also says that when the entertainment company approached him to be associated with the film he was excited to do it, just because it is something he relates to and it is something he is making.

The filmmaker also says the movie will get a Bollywood remake.

Shetty also adds that at the moment he cannot say who should be the 'Bad Boys' in Bollywood as it will go viral.

Meanwhile, the third part of the franchise, 'Bad Boys For Life', released on January 31. The buddy cop movie series began in 1995.
