Reserve Bank of Fiji has launched Fiji’s first ever Capital Markets Week in partnership with its intermediaries and stakeholders

The Reserve Bank of Fiji has launched Fiji’s first ever Capital Markets Week in partnership with its intermediaries and stakeholders.

This will be held at FNPF Downtown Boulevard this week.

The week-long event will focus on creating public awareness in terms of the investment opportunities available in Fiji.

The Reserve Bank of Fiji Governor and the Chairman of the Capital Markets Advisory, Ariff Ali says that this event is centered on an industry that is essential to our economy.

Ali says the capital market industry contributes to increasing job opportunities and income.

He says Fiji’s capital markets comprise of the stock market where companies raise funds for business expansion by issuing shares.
