Reopening of Nadroga/Navosa Technical Institute creates better educational opportunities in the region

The reopening of the Nadroga/Navosa Technical Institute which was closed in 2020, marks a significant step by the Nadroga and Navosa Provincial Council towards creating better educational opportunities for future generations in the region.

Since its reopening, the institute has started offering a Micro Qualification Program, which is designed to enhance skills in key trades.

160 students have received scholarship approvals and are set to begin their studies in Automotive and Carpentry Certificate Levels 1 and 2 early next year.

This initiative promises to empower the youth of Nadroga and Navosa with practical skills and career opportunities that will benefit the entire community for years to come.
