QVS needs to play their structure well for the full game to shut down Nasinu - Ikanivere

The Queen Victoria School under 18 rugby side will need to play their structure well for the full 70 minutes of the game against Nasinu Secondary School if they want to retain the Vodafone Super Deans Trophy this year.

This was highlighted by Fiji Water Flying Fijians captain and former QVS student Tevita Ikanivere when asked about his view on this weekend’s Deans final between QVS and Nasinu.

Ikanivere says he watched the games last week and he saw that Nasinu is a really good side and if QVS can be well structured throughout the match, they can shut Nasinu down.

Ikanivere was the captain of the QVS under 18 side in 2018.

QVS will take on Nasinu at 5.30pm Saturday in the U18 final.

In other finals, RKS will play MGM High School in the under 14 grade at 8am, Marist Brothers High School will take on Suva Grammar School in the under-15 grade at 9.05am, Lelean Memorial School will play Suva Grammar in the under-16 grade at 11.25am, and in the under-17 grade, RKS will battle Marist at 12.50pm. Lami High School will take on QVS at 2.30pm in the U19 final. In the Weet-Bix Raluve competition, Niusawa Secondary School will play Sigatoka Methodist College at 10.15am in the under-16 final, while Natabua High School will take on Adi Cakobau School at 3.50pm in the under-18 final.
