Former President of Fiji Labour Party's Nadi branch, Bijay Prasad has today revealed that he will call on President, Ratu Josefa Iloilo to intervene in the matter of an interim minister who allegedly evaded taxes over a period of time.
Prasad said it’s high time now and the interim minister should be exposed and investigated.
When contacted earlier this afternoon, Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama who is in India referred all queries to his Permanent Secretary, Pramesh Chand.
Bijay Prasad was told to leave the FLP National Council meeting in Ba last Saturday when he raised questions to Interim Finance Minister and Labour Leader Mahendra Chaudhry on what he has achieved over the last fourteen months for the benefit of the people.
Pramesh Chand told Village that all queries should be referred to FIRCA and if FIRCA has any evidence it would be taken to cabinet for consideration.
