Police are urging all parents to continue to communicate with their children about the importance of knowing their whereabouts at all times.

This has been highlighted by Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations ACP Livai Driu after confirming that 16-year-old Selai Talei of Tamavua- i- Wai has been located and has been reunited with her family after seeing a missing report about herself on Facebook.

ACP says parent will also need to inform their loved ones of their whereabouts with a simple text or call.

He says those who were reported missing are the ones who do not inform their parents of their whereabouts and have been away visiting their friends or relatives and decide to spend a day or two while being there.
