Police are urging people to refrain from exchanging personal information with unknown persons promising a high return for an investment opportunity after they continue to receive reports of this happening in the country.

Police say they continue to receive reports of people losing their hard-earned money through quick rich scams after personal details are exchanged, in particular, money transfer apps such as M-PAiSA.

They say people should refrain from sending money or engaging with these scammers and not share personal information as it could be used against a person.
