People asked to avoid picnic spots along Pacific Harbour after shark sighting on Sunday

A famous Picnic spot along Pacific Harbour

People are advised to avoid picnic spots along Pacific Harbour after a shark sighting on Sunday.

Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says their officers in Navua were alerted on Sunday and people have been warned not to swim at those picnic spots for now.

She says the sighting and information was received from Nanuku Resort staff.

Naisoro stresses that it is best for people to take the necessary precautions and avoid these picnic spots.
