PM extends best wishes to Hindus celebrating Ram Navami

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has extended his best wishes to the thousands of Hindus in the country who are celebrating Ram Navami.

Bainimarama says it is his wish that the good fortune they receive will spread throughout the country as we walk hand-in-hand towards our recovery from a dark and difficult year.

Ram Navami is one of the oldest and most revered festivals of the Hindu faith, celebrated to honour the birth of Lord Rama whom Hindus recognize as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

Hindus around the country will be celebrating Ram Navami till next Wednesday.
